- I am a Senior at the University of Miami. I am a student in GSC 107 - Natural Disasters, Hollywood v. Reality. For my final project I created this blog to help inform people about what a hurricane is, how it can affect you, how to avoid damage, and how to track its path. Hopefully you find it extremely helpful and easy to read. I kept the science simple enough that everyone would be able to understand the concepts.
